Wimble Custom Jewelry produces fine jewelry for both every day wear and for the collector.
Many pieces incorporate a suprise element in the design. For instance, in the Yosemite ring piece above, one custom option is to include a slice of Mokume Gane, a metal form that contains a dozen or more extremely thin layers of silver and copper fused together under high temperature and pressure, frabricated to show anything from the very fine, detailed pattern as shown, to a bolder pattern. The Yosemite Series is designed to recall California's Yosemite National Park, with its bold, granite forms reflected in the reticulated silver, and California's gold more literally represented in either the 18K or 14K pink edge elements. The gold in the pictures shown is all 18K pink gold. The 14K form is slightly redder, and produces an even bolder contrast to the silver. The silver reticulated pattern is random, and can vary from the more subtle, as shown in the right earring below, in the section closest to you, to the more bold, shown in the left earring. In fact, both earrings have sections of bold and subtle designs, and no two earrings or rings are very identical in the reticulation patterns that result during the fabrication process.
